The basic fascia FORMULA = shorten the area you are targeting, add activation by contracting the muscle/s, and move in the opposite direction; that's it! No need for tools, equipment, or machines, just your beautiful body! That is why I love this work, anyone can do it, anytime, anywhere! Whether I do 30 seconds for my traps or a full 45 min class, it is part of my daily life and I hope that is becomes that for you too!

Will this help with flat back posture upper abdominal tightness
The first stretch seemed to help my lower back also. There was a definite release there. The second stretch was better if I did smaller movements. Thank you for all of this!

How to approach exercises after getting 😷 sick
Thank you! I haven't heard anyone outside of a ballet studio refer to "sickling". It's wonderful to hear. And yes, foot alignment is extremely important.
I have been having severe headaches for 24 years, following a motorcycle accident where I landed on my head which drove my chin into my chest going 30mph. In 2003 a military Dr diagnosed me with migraines after an injection of Imitrex worked to relieve my pain. I have been taking 50mg. sumatriptan ever since for my headaches. That is until I saw this video. That stretch at the 5 min mark I believe has changed that. Twice I felt a headache coming and performed this stretch and the headache stopped dead in its tracks!! The first time I was having a headache at work, was getting ready to go home as I didn't have any medicine with me. I did this stretch and immediately felt it in both trigger points in the front of my forehead and behind my head. CRAZY! I have been searching for any spot that would work on that pain and have never found it. I just can't say thank you enough!! This is absolutely life changing.
That instantly improved my shoulder and t-spine mobility. Felt great. Any limitations on how often we can do this facial stretching?

My back mobility is bad rn, i don t know what s happening but my back is so stiff, i feel like my back ribs are stiff and glued to my back muscles with cement, it hurts after sleeping and staying still. This helped a lil.

I've had trouble with neck/jaw/shoulder pain for years. Stretching the traditional way does nothing and I've tried everything. Doing it this way really highlights the pain areas. It' a burning, tearing sensation to do the stretch. Not disconcerting, but it really taps into the problem spots. I hope this turns into relieve after continuing with this.

WOOOOOW that is awesome. The start point of my right elbow was high but when I switched to the Left elbow it would barely rise much higher than my chest. After completing a few reps Left side opened and it increased it's range to above my head. I have been fascia stretching since 2015 and am always blown away by the real time results. I am tight on my left side around the ribcage and around the shoulder blades or is tight stretched and twisted=tight? All I know that left side seems twisted. I've been told I'm rotated to the right. It was explained that the fascia has pushed tbe left arm forward and I'm caught in a twist. It confuses me whether it's the fascia or muscles. Can't find proper treatment if the problem isn't pinpointed.
